Call sign 'Waggon'

Not sure if this is the place to ask but was inbound to the UK on Friday and heard an unusual call sign that I had not heard before.

Waggon ** was working London about to be handed over to London Mil. He was en-route to EDDS from somewhere in the UK probably Norfolk area so I guess American Military. Pilot had an American accent and sounded like he was wearing an Oxy Mask.

Sorry curiosity has just got the better of me, any ideas what / who it was.

Thanks.

I've spoke to an American F18 in the past that used the WAGON callsign.

Callsign "Wagon" has previously been used by a USAF F18.

I wasn't aware the USAF had any F-18s. Aren't they all US Navy?
