Question Pay

please forgive if i bring up some silly points; fairly new to this machine.

the current pay negotiations seem to be stuck because nats and the airline group, "..just don't have any more money..".

how is it that our pay is such an argument over a few percent increase; management think they give the world by offering a few percent.

yet in the news and the grapevine, reports abound that airline capacity is recovering well (much better than expected), and at the same time some members of the airline group can give their pilots a healthy payrise, as well as others being able to buy themselves a nice new airline EZY

any views or opinions appreciated, and as i may not have the full picture, corrections also appreciated.

cheers, the floater
