Mixed Mode missed approaches at VIDP
It seems pretty standard that if a missed approach is to be made, one will follow what is on the approach chart which is likely what is in the FMC.
Sifting through the general pages at Delhi(VIDP) I noticed that hidden away on page 10-1P7 are different missed approach instructions or contingency procedures when mixed mode operations are in use(which appears to be most of the time).
I suppose the obvious answer is that if mixed mode ops are in use, follow the alternate missed approach instructions if flying a missed approach.
But I still have to ask my stupid question to the Delhi based pilots, is that what is really done or does ATC quickly give some sort of direction in such a situation?
I suspect a lot of out of towners may be planning on following what is on the chart anytime there is a missed approach.
