Bryn Burnett
I am sad to inform you of the news that ex-Muscat and NZ air traffic controller Bryn Burnett has passed away.
From what I understand from John McKenzie at Airways NZ, his funeral is tomorrow (Tuesday).
I never met Bryn as he was in Muscat well before my time, but his Omani colleagues and friends, many of whom he trained, remember him very fondly indeed.

Worked with him in NZ for a number of years, a great bloke who will be missed by all who had the pleasure of working with him.
I remember him hosting a work BBQ at his place and us all playing cricket with plastic bats in one of his paddocks, fun time.
RIP bro

RIP Bryn mate
Seems such a short time ago that we kicked off the Muscat FIR in the wee small hours of the morning. Hopefully we'll meet up again in that great FIR in the skies.

I don't know Bryn but he is "ATC Family" so I am very sorry to hear the sad news.
I know exactly what his family is going through and offer my sincere condolences.
