Exclamation Avoiding Action

Just wondering how many people know the phraseology has been dabbled to " <callsign> Avoiding Action <callsign> turn...etc" and how they found out. Being that LACC has only electronic briefing and CD-ROM Part 2 updates, how were we to find out?????

It was in the last MATS part 1 amendment back in December (which are now downloadable from the web), which caused a bit of debate on here.

So - known about it since then.

Talking

What's MATS Pt 1?????

Who cares anyway, as long as the R/T is of a standard nature and is clear, unambiguous, understood and put over in an urgent manner. That is what is important!

5miles.. You say LACC only has electronic briefing... well don't you use it? LTCC also has electronic briefing and a great many of us check it out each day. In fact many TC controllers regularly brief themselves as soon as they arrive before entering the ops room. Being a desperately old git I have great trouble learning the book but being computer-minded the electronic bit seems to make it more fun and easier to digest.... and it constantly nags you until you read it.
