Santa's clearance.

Just been tracking Santa on the NORAD web site. Does he get preferential clearances on his Travels?

Cool

Direct to a 10 mile final, no height, no speed. You're number one, Santa.

Merry Christmas, one and all and a Happy Hogmanay from up here in the frozen North. It's not quite the North Pole, but you can almost see it on a clear day.

Waco, I imagine this French bashing session was stronger than you, on a Christmas Eve...

Santa flew slot free on a free route... where there was enough money and not oo much unemployment. Everywhere else, he got crazy FLs OR massive slot, not both.

If you wish to complain about crazy FLs, ask CFMU. That's nothing else than a result of their "Monitoring Value" procedures. Unless you work for a company that files crazy FLs ?

Massive slots are due to traffic and hubs. A bit of understaffing is coming in the next 5 years. Or French ANSP is going to be privatized, but taxes would grow more than you could imagine... it's just a question of choice.

Merry Christmas and Happy New SESAR Procedures !
A lot more are coming soon, in total disregard of Merton's laws...
