Female Controllers in the ME

Its been a few years since I worked in the sands so....

For those of you out there at the moment, are any of the ME ANS providers hiring female controllers at all.

I have a collegue who works terminal radar and is considering a move to the sands, from memory it was not a done thing when I worked there.

Any updates would be appreciated, especially any advice at all from controllers of the fairer sex that may be working there now.

Not sure if it matters or not, but she is single

Both Doha and Dubai hire female App controllers.

As far as Dubai goes, there are quite a number of female controllers working here, expat as well as a UAE national (up in the TWR).
I know that AUH has a few working APP, if you're looking for the better package money-wise, then AUH pips DXB to the post with a lot less traffic, but I'm not sure if the actual conditions are better.

Needs at least 5 years approach radar experience, and that in a busy and complex environment.

As for hiring, think it's pretty slow, but in any event, if she is interested, she can contact the company at "[email protected]"
Good luck.....
