Can't believe that you're allowed run around an active airport without full radio contact! (not to mention beacons etc...)

Lurker...

For teh last couple of summers that I did at EGLL before I bugged out the BAA were using quads for grass-spraying, they'd get a blanket works permit for 'all grass areas' and they'd go do their little quaddy thing all over the place without Leader assistance.

I guess they had radios fitted, I never looked that closely.
