Heathrow/Thames Radar

Hi all,

Just wanted to pop a note to say a big thanks to Heathrow/Thames Radar. I have flown in there hectic airspace a few times recently taking patients to various hospitals in the capital. on a "Alpha" c/s.

The most daunting thing for us air ambulances is to be told at a scene that the patient needs to go to London Royal/Queens etc without prior planning, but every time i have spoke to ATC in London they have always been very helpful, and have always tried to accommodate us without any disruption.

So just a little thanks is in order.

Cheers

Hi happysod1412
Always nice to get some appreciation from our customers, and we always try to give the most expeditious routeings to the emergency services, whatever disruption it may cause.

I'd like to say thanks too! I have used your services several times this year as a humble PPL in a SEP heli on the Lanes... always been very helpful and very friendly. I shall probably be "bothering" you again over the Christmas break too!

Is it possible for a PPL to arrange a visit to see it from the other side do you know?

C.
