Mini Attack

Listening to ATC at Luton once, I heard a controller tell aircraft taking off from the intersection as 'Cleared for a mini attack on runway 26'. Did I hear right? I've never heard it before or since and I was wondering what it really meant. Aircraft taking off from the end of rwy 26 were 'cleared for takeoff' as usual.

Perhaps they used the word 'backtrack'?

I worked at Luton for many years and heard (nor issued) no such thing.

No, it wasn't backtrack. And anyway, they took off straight away! The pilots repeated mini attack so presumably they knew something about it.

I'd stake a small amount of money on the mis-heard phraseology in question being 'Cleared for immediate takeoff'.

What else could it be?

"Mini backtrack" perhaps ? I've certainly heard " short backtrack " when pilot knows the inbound situation.
