Heathrow female ATC (director)

Probably many would agree with me that in LHR there is the best ATC in the world.

I must say that someone from them makes the radar vectoring even pleasant with her voice.

I'm referring in particular to a female radar controller who I met several times on the "director" frequency.

She speaks in a unique, unmistakable way, like she was talking with little children in a very early school.

I'm sure she could perfectly handle any emergency with her calmness.

Have you ever noticed that?

Yes I have heard her working in the mornings on Heathrow Director (Usually 120.400 but sometimes 119.725.)
She is very slow in speaking but very calm and clear.

Heathrow is very interesting to listen to.

I happen to like 'Marmite'!

I think she is professionalism personified. She always seems to generate a little bit of extra time for a 'bye' or some such message. Good on ya gal

[The fact that I happen to visualise her as a young Brittany Spears in pigtails and in a grey plaid skirt and white socks is my problem, or so I'm told].

On a professional note, , a pleasure to work with you

TopBunk.... You must do something about these wild fantasies - take 4 blue tablets instead of two each day! And remember - the one's with the sexiest voices are often sitting on two chairs.

There are some very nice ladies working the Heathrow Sector...... now that I'm gone! Bah humbug....

Something that always amused me is the noticeable difference in manners on frequency when it's a female voice.

When it's a lady, the frequency is full of yes ma'ams and thank-yous. When it was me... "Copied!"

Good job to this particular lady for generate such a response and respect from the industry

the best voice by far is the binair pilot who flies out of southend eastbound. she is probably the reason why it climbs like a brick but she sounds fit.

probably apocraphyl, but from the days of primary radar was the female RAF ATCer's alleged instruction: "you are now entering my dark area, do you want to self position, or shall I turn you on....?"

Haha this thread is cracking me up, I supervise in a busy Police Control Room, if the female controllers want someone to do a griefy job they put on a sexy voice!

I have to say, normally the voice doesn't match the looks!

I once remember getting a 'sleaze down' into an RAF base on a rubbish night. Upon asking the 'voice' on the other end if she would be in the bar later she replied 'yes, about 8 O'Clock'.

When the lass turned up she was so large she had her own weather system!

Nice girl to chat with though! (especially with your eyes shut )

wobble.... Had me rolling about.. Donkey's years ago one afternoon in London Approach one of our young lad ATCAs was getting over-chatty with a delightful sounding girl at Northolt and eventually suggested they meet for a drink later. The girl readily agreed, suggesting that a drink might just be the start. She rang back later to ask if she could bring a friend if there was someone our ATCA could bring too...

When the two blokes got to Northolt they espied two ladies approaching - one was really slim and ultra-gorgeous... the other appeared to be the Rusilip heavyweight ladies mud-wrestling champ..... and guess which one had been the sexy one on the phone!!!!

Excellent thread.

Without doubt I always hope the lovely voice in question is there to "direct me in" on those cold early mornings after a long flight from Hong Kong!

Unfortunately, the "looks does not match the voice" is only too correct.

However as I have not seen her, I am left to my imagination. Having just returned from a country where Transformers 2 is already out, my image is of Megan Fox in tight denim shorts. Can anyone confirm if this is anywhere close?

Sexy one at Edinburgh

There is a nice sexy voice at Edinburgh, with looks to match allegedlyAbout 6 weeks ago, French Navy aircraft comes on and asks for vectored ILS to 24, with low approach and go-around. Cant authorise that says she in sexy voice. Why not replies the French crew. This is an international airport says she. We will land, back track and take off again responds the Frenchies. Hold on until I get my supervisor, the voice losing some of its appeal. - PricelessThey got the go-around. Just this once though and dont do it again.
