Eurocontrol/CFMU Network Operations Plan
Good morning,
CFMU provides since the beginning of this week a free access to its NOP (Network Operations Plan) portal. You can get official and reliable information on the status of european airspaces (overloaded airspaces for exemple) in real time, for a future (strategic and tactic tabs) or past (post-operations) period.
It provides also with access to other services of CFMU like the ATFM Information Messages (AIM) or the European AIS Database (EAD) for exemple.
https://www.cfmu.eurocontrol.int/PUBPORTAL/gateway/spec/index.html
Any comments are more than welcome (I work at CFMU as you may guess ;-))

Not sure if you value my input (non pilot in any capacity) but software developer.
I have the following observations so far...
1) the map is divided as if it expects each zone to be a hot spot to narrow down the search -these are not available.
2) Most sections say I am not authorised to view - there is no login/register option yet to make me different from the next person visiting the site.
3) atfcm daily plan implys visusally you can select within the map or change the displayed by key but is inactive.
4) None of the tabs work (cant get to strategic, pre-tactical or post operations).
I am not going to go on.. If you want a software developers perspective let me know. at the moment your site seems unusable.
regards
Jof

Thanks for your feedback;
As stated by masATC, you have to click on the tab then on the date.
Not nice, fully agree :-(
Dusktodawn, what do you mean by "open the administration"?
>1) the map is divided as if it expects each zone to be a hot spot to

This is technicaly difficult to do it on the web; this is part on the second phase of the project
>2) Most sections say I am not authorised to view
> - there is no login/register option yet to make me different from the
>next person visiting the site.
It is a pure public (no login at all) access; the restricted access is reserved to ops guys (ATC, Airlines mainly)
>3) atfcm daily plan implys visusally you can select within the map or
>change the displayed by key but is inactive.
That's true; same answer than for 1, but it is definitively a room for improvment.
Thanks all
