1. Why the change from flight info; radar info and radar advisory - these tags are logical, easy to understand and easy to say?

I have a feeling that the word RADAR is being removed from the names of the services because future technologies may allow the Traffic and Deconfliction services to be provided using GPS derived data transmitted by aircraft without the need for radar in its current form in some circumstances.
