Devil Ex Cadets

At a retirement bash recently we were discussing how many ex cadets with 1 or 2 digit course numbers are still controlling (not just administrating).

Would anyone care to submit a claim for the honour?

33 Course - the last three year course at the time. 35 years this year. Controlling on Heathrow Radar to the horror of many and the admiration of none. Also a GS.

Ex-Number 2 Student Cadet Course (a four year course subsequently bandboxed into Number 12 Cadet [3-year] Course). Year 43, currently a valid Approach Radar controller, no breaks in validity since licence issue. My boss (also APS-valid) is pre-cadetship, Class-to-Class, ex-MoA Eastleigh and ex-MoA Blackbushe 1957.

This leaves me trying to figure out who 'Atcham Tower' and '2 Sheds' are....

If cleo is agreeable, maybe we can open the thread to those who are no longer actively controlling. I'd be fascinated to know where some of us have ended up.
