Life at the college
I know this has been done before but can't find any current info. How are students finding the cost of living at the college? B+B prices etc. How is the salary holding up against this? Start on the area course soon (ish) and trying to plan my finances (or lack of).
I'm sorry to repeat a thread that has been done before but would greatly appreciate some current info.
Regards,
Abracadabra

I would not panic too much about thefinance side of living at the col, although you are expected to liove on a small amount we still manage to get out and enjoy ourselves as well. It is around about £950 a month on the pay front, most folks live in B&B's whereas the guys on area tend to live in house shares.
Prices vary, i paid £500 a month for bed/breakfast ad evening meal whicj is easily liveable. Food at the col is decent and generally cheap and a beer in the city is not too bad either

If you're a Facebooker, you could do worse than have a search on NATS on there, the various courses have groups on there (the latest being 218), so they should be able to provide up-to-date info.
