UK NATS College Aerodrome Simulators
Does anyone have any ideas of how I can do some pre-Hurn studying/practicing for the College Aerodrome Simulator runs? Is there any sites online or software anyone could recommend? .... also is there any benefit in trying to get Tower work experience with the Sims specifically in mind?Ta very much!

There's really no point. Even if there was a decent twr sim out there (and there isn't, as far as I'm aware, although this applies equally to radar sims), you'd only teach yourself bad techniques and habits that the instructors at the college would have to work against. The whole point of having professional instructors is so that you can learn the correct methods from the start, there's no point practicing if you don't know what you're doing.

I can't think of any software that will benefit you.
You would be much better off visiting a tower and get an understanding of the basic procedures involved with moving aircraft and vehicles around.
If you are determined to practice, Pacman is as good as any

Because the work requires people to act on your spoken instructions, you'll struggle to find something of any benefit that doesn't have a person controlling the simulation on the other side.
Don't worry. The aerodrome course breaks you in gently and is designed to teach you from no experience. I appreciate it would be nice to have a headstart, but you'll all be in the same boat.
