E Watch ScACC have decided.......

Well, a group of us who were well lubricated at our Christmas lunch decided that NATS ABERDEEN are the easiest, most flexible and least whingeing unit that we have the pleasure of working with.

Well done to all you lads and lasses that cope with what TAY and MORAY throw at you along with those helis.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and all involved in UK aviation.

Thanks Fatty. I wonder if you all thought the same when you sobered up the next day. Seriously though, you lads and lasses at Scottish are definately the best Centre that we work with!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you Jocks and everybody in the aviation world, especially our Aberdeen customers.

And, speaking as an inmate of the Ice Station who pesters a number of area centres, I must say that the muffled conversations I hear when the ATSAs phone is on the desk are some of the most illuminating I've ever heard on a recorded line. (But probably only because I can't understand what the Dutch are on about)

Cheers for the vote of confidence, it's nice to know we're making someone happy

I've said it quite a few times to my colleagues when sober so it was not just a drunken rant !!

Keep up the good work.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all PPRuNers.

Oops it's 0604, must get a shower and get to work.

I'll back up Fat Controller - Aberdeen are great to work with with our watch, take all the stuff that I throw at them with no complaints and keeps the traffic moving in the way that it should. Well done EGPD.

I wouldn't read too much into this; I saw just how pi$$ed they all were!

Equally wild claims included:

  1. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad would make a better Christmas speech than HM the Duchess of Embra.
  2. Prestwick was guaranteed to have a white Christmas.
  3. The next pay round would be resolved by end Jan.
  4. The WM would pay for the Xmas booze. (Which, in all fairness, he did )

Hope you all had a good one! (Its the bloody indigestion that gets me...)

EGPD???

Heard that it is the most bullying unit in NATS. Is that why the head honcho got the push? Have things improved since then...or not?

Nice comments from E watch, but then having proper radar screens and 3 mile radar separation does help.
All we need is to be recognised from on high for the job we do.Fat chance of that. Some of the £14K pay difference would be fine as well.Pity E watch didn't have a whip round for us.
