Bournemouth Radar Conpsicuity Code 7377
Just a quick question:
AIP ENR 1-6-2-10 states Bournemouth Radar has a conspicuity code of 7377. Is this in a similar vein to the recent changes to Luton / Stansted etc, whereby any aircraft monitoring 119.475 can squawk this and therefore be idented as maintaining a listening watch?
Many thanks.

No, in this case it's a single squawk that can be allocated to an aircraft not recieving a radar service,(flight information or a procedural atc service).
It enables adjacent atc units to know that that aircraft is not recieving a radar service, therefore any height or other derived information is unverified and decisions regarding any avoiding action or coordination can be made accordingly.
If it had been the "listen out but not talk unless called" squawk to which you alude, it would have been specifically published as such.
