Well, the modern stuff is yet to get installed!!!
We are presently still working on the historical displays!!!
What exactly are you looking for? Pictures of the radar display? Airspace stuff?
Or just pictures of the Oops Room and cab?

As a 'STANDARD'.......
a Camera is 'NOT ALLOWED' in a high security area, but try explaining to security why an 8mp Mobile Phone-Camera is 'ALLOWED'....
To reply to your thread, as previously posted, there are many many upgrades going on, be it up in the Tower, where the move back to the New Upgraded Floor with New Desks is scheduled for mid November.... Although there has been a total refurbishment going on up in the Top Floor, I do not think any Display or System will be upgraded..perhaps new monitors replacing the old ones is my best bet.....Otherwise same old equipment with 'funny colours'........
The Tower Simulator has been upgraded to a modern 180 degree Simulator, so when it DOES work, it's a better tool than what we had previously!
In the Approach room, same old 'FLIGHT REFUELLING' equipment, which is NOT MODERN............
BUTTTTtttttttt......
Further down the road, at the New Jebel Ali ATC premises, a New 3d 360 Simulator should be up & running within the coming months....
Lastly, some of our Projects & Training Teams, have been to USA to check out the New Radar System, which should be ONE OF THE BEST in THE WORLD, & also to LHR to check the New Tower Equipment with 'Touch Screens' & their Simulator!
So what exactly do you need?

I'm intrigued which radar you are talking about. Would also be interested in what anyone else thinks might be the best if they disagree (which I'm sure they will!)

are jal736 and jal735 ok now?
Someone walked behind me as I had that post/pic open at a sups console and went very still..."errr...what? when? where?".
Can I suggest its Raytheon* not Thales or Lockheed Martin? Oui/Non?
*Raytheon type data blocks and CJS.

The best radar system I have ever worked with around the world was Lockheed Martin.
As far as photos from the UAE go, pull out a camera in the ACC or TWR and just see how quickly local management will get you on the next flight back to your home country, with or without your family.
This is surprisingly one of the few things they are very efficient at in the ME
