I consider myself to be competent on my sectors, some may disagree, but most of the time it is a piece of piss. every one has "off" days, that is human nature. But generally when there is no wx avoidance or non standard/emergency stuff it is simple.
If you think it is that hard then maybe you should give up your validation/s and go work in an office.
I cant remember who was bumping their gums about band 5 again, but probably some joker from manch? just get over it will you.

Pains me to say it, but I have to agree with you ERIC. BTW, great performance on SkySports 1 last night...I have video evidence on my phone of you and the other muppets!

ERIC,
Joker I may be, but I'm not "from manch". That location has a capital 'M' also.
Have a nice day.

ATC can be a challenge at times (and not as I'mNotAnEric states, necessarily during emergencies - they are just another flight with a higher priority if handled properly)

However I would like to back notanEric up when he says ATC can often be a piece of p***

The reason it is this way though is because of the selection process and the extensive training that ensues before validation.

I would like to think that anyone who constantly found their job a challenge (in-so-much as difficulty), would be chopped or sent to a less stressful unit... for both their sake and their colleagues and customers!!

Well....try patting you head and rubbing your tummy at the same time, while reciting the alphabet backwards, jumping on one leg and tapping pi to 30 decimal places in Morse code with the big toe of the non-jumping foot.

Just kidding. You don't have to recite the alphabet backwards.
