Goodbye Ris And Ras

...was the title of an ad in Flight this week - says that ATSOCA will change next March. Can anyone give me a heads-up on these changes, please.

Hi

more here: www.airspacesafety.com

if you are going to aeroexpo you can talk to the ASI team there. The CAP with all the details is published on 16 June on the CAA website. At the same time the ASI website will start hosting an interactive educational guide to the services. If you are a UK ATCO or CPL you will get this guide on a CD in June - through your letterbox. If you are a UK GA pilot then you will get the CD this winter.

Take that one with a pinch of salt - it is the CAP that was put out with the public consultation and does not reflect changes made in response to the consultation comments received.

I understand the CAP will be published on the CAA website on 16 June 2008, with implementation on 12 March 2009.
