ATC Instructing:

Pay-wise, what pay are ATC Instructors expecting NETT.

I am offered 5000usd/month plus accom (1 BR studio apartment), plus car: am I shortchanged??

A Sertain Training And Consultancy firm are offering more: but numerous grapevine reports from previous employees indicate that "Paul don't pay".

In my experience thats a ball park average.
Depends on where you are working.
$ 5000-6000 US sounds like a Saudi offer.
A small Emirate is currently looking staff for May / June at about DHM 21000 pm plus flight accom and car.
Some parts of Europe pay more - though less benefits.

For the last couple of years people have been saying that "paul don't pay" but he's still about, so things can't be that bad. From what i've heard the pay is considerably greater than 5000us. Guess you need to work out how long you want to be employed, as the saying is "no smoke without fire" even if it is just a smoulder.

OK BD

you have me stumped which only leave RAK (serco) or Umm al-Qaiwain, which I last heard did not have an airport.

You can PM me if you like, I am curious now.

Next door to Irish Village - not too hard for those in the know....the ATC College in Dubai, probably due to their previous instructor going to the work force at DXB!
