London departures to the east (KOK)

I was wondering what the deciding factor was for the coordination of these flights. When are they coordinated with MUAC and when with EBBU?
I know that there is a climb restriction along the route but it happens that an a/c has to level off just east of DVR at 230 while others are still climbing above it....

Under the new procedures traffic that has departed from EGKB/LC/TO/MC can only be planned at a maximum of FL230.

EGKK/LL/SS/GW/SC outbounds will general be planned at Maastricht levels, however, there are times that these aircraft are held down due traffic in the London TMA.

The new procedures that have been enforced means that the DVR sector must now ensure traffic that is planned to Maastricht must be FL245+ by KONAN and transferred to them by 10nm East of DVR, if this is not possible then the aircraft will be planned to Brussels.

Unfortunately the DVR planner will be second guessing how the traffic will be presented from TC (this isn't a dig at the TMA controllers, as they have their own problems) before the ACT is sent.

Sometimes we get it wrong and aircraft level off or have to be coordinated climbing.

Add in danger activity and it can get a bit interesting.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. The new procedure sometimes leads to strange traffic flows but it's what we got so...
I think that maybe it would be interesting for us here at EBBU ACC to plan a visit to see what exactly is going on in the sectors concerned. It can only help us understand.
