I am happy to raise your comments with our air safety committee and our head of standards. I have always thought that the RT is too busy in London for us to take up more of the controller's time.

It was introduced shortly after we had an aircraft read back a descent clearance with Maastricht that was intended for speedbird. The captain was getting Luton's weather, and neither the controller nor speedbird picked up the fact that the wrong aircraft responded to the clearance.
