Slush contamination question - SOP's for pilots

Today in this weather I am hearing.

"First third, slush contamination 20% 6mm melting rapid"

What are the SOP's on landing and take off for this information - are they airline based or aircraft based? Would we see one airline running with an Airbus 319 have exactly the same policy for landing/take off on this or would each airline have their SOP's even if they were running the same aircraft?
Perhaps ATC folks can shed light on whether they ever see same aircraft types one saying "no" and the other saying "ok"?

In addition is landing or take off the easier part with this kind of contamination?
