It's official- NATS is world's best ANSP!

I'm surprised no-one else has mentioned this yet, as voted for by our peers and customers and reported in Air Traffic Management magazine.

Let the plaudits begin, thank you, thank you, I just have a short acceptance speech...

p.s. and tut, tut, naughty, naughty for those other organisations that tried to rig the vote in their favour

p.p.s. now we NATS folks can continue arguing about which is the best unit in the world's best ANSP etc etc

Maybe noone else has mentioned it cos you need to pay 350 GBP's a year to subscribe to the magazine to allow you to actually read the article on their website.

Screw that for a joke, thats 300 pints of beer here in the UAE I can buy.

Enjoy basking in your glory and the rest of us will just keep doing our job

Had to read the article twice, just to make sure we hadn't awarded the title to ourselves.

Mate, considering my options I'm hoping for huge floods to come before tomorrow and considering that the world is ending they will cancel the game and call the tournament null and void.

Since that is unlikely to happen I will barrack for the Yarps only because Englands style of rugby is as exciting as a UAE OJTI course. Can someone remind them that they are allowed to pass and run with the ball.

Either way Australias cricket team still reigns supreme

I work for NATS, I think it was probably our turn to win. We do shift a lot of traffic, we are well trained and, in most areas, very motivated with a very high safety ethic. Some of (very few) our senior managers are from the Jurassic era thogh, when thay finally retire the world will be a better place!

Difference being a lot less people are employed to do it.

Does that not then have a negative impact on safety?

My post was probably more sarcastic than it seems, its our 'turn to win' means that the award is meaningless to most NATS staff, who really cares? As for 'come over here and see what then"! Give me a break, I have been in this game for 34 years and seen enough thanks.
