Came across the below clip on YT. Are the hours quoted the exception or the rule ?

I would say they are about the norm. We have quick turns, and with trying to find time for a family life and working varying shifts, sleep sometimes suffer. At my facility we use to be able to cat nap when on break, but that has been stopped with threats of discipline if caught with your eyes closed .

My ACC typical shift week.... 1600-0000, 1400-2200, 0700-1500 or 1200-2000, 0700-1500, then either 0600-1400 or 2300-0700. Currently we have two days off but many FAA facilities work 10hour days with six day work weeks. Soon we will be forced into this due to staffing.
