maths
Hi Im preparing for my 1st stage of the recruitment process in Glasgow in a couple of weeks. Im confused whether there is a maths section or not at this stage. Im busy preparing for the spatial awareness, reasoning and checking tests and need to know whether to waste energy brushing up on my mental arithmetic as well or not.
Any help would be greatly apprectiated!

The ability to do basic mental arithmatic is a basic part of the job itself and you'd be required to use it all the time.
Speed calculations are an essential to keep traffic moving and no, you can't take a calculator to work with you, so you'd better do some revision!

When I did the tests in May there weren't any maths type Q's, just the cubes, diagrammatical and basic checking.
