Flight Plan Form Item 15

I know that this has sort of come up in the past but from reading previous threads they didn't seem to give me what I'm looking for.
I glanced through CAP694 and see no mention that it is ok to put a VRP in as a waypoint on the flight plan
So my question is, is it easier foy you guys that handle FPLs if we put in VRPs and can we put in large towns instead of Long/Lat?
Please assume that my route does not cross any VORs, NDS, ADs etc.

Basically, you can put your waypoints any which way yoU want......But PLEASE don't put Airfields down as their four letter ICAO codes.... eg EGBO DCT EGBJ DCT EGHH DCT 50N DCT EGJB. Should read...
EGBO DCT GST DCT BIA DCT 50N DCT EGJB. Or even
EGBO DCT GLOUCESTER DCT POOLE DCT 50N DCT EGJB
Hope this helps
