Trouble in Paradise?

Heard a report on BBC 94.9 radio yesterday pm that virtually ALL Brazilian ATCOs were refusing to work due to understaffing/poor equipment/ aftermath of the tragic mid-air. Heard nothing since then; has any body else? Apparently it was causing chaos as the country is so big it relies on domestic routes for fast communications.
