I can only have 1 pm stored at a time so il try and get any message I receive deleted so both of you can send me your contact info!
Congratulations on getting through recruitment btw!!

Hi guys,
After not getting it on my first attempt with what they call a nearly miss, I finally got it and couldn't be happier So for those of you in a similar scenario, focus on the big picture regardless timescales and keep trying!
Anyone in the CTC course (in Hampshire) starting in July? (I've read here a few talking about a Jerez and a Gloucester course for July, but nothing about CTC?). Any Whatsapp/Facebook group created already?

If that's true, I could have saved myself the stress of going through the old process last week! But I wasn't going to throw away the chance of having two attempts at it. Fortunately I got through stage 2, so that's no longer relevant.
But, surely it's not in NATS's interest to move the goalposts too much in the direction of making things easier, is it?

Well, reading through the description of the new process it cetainly looks like they've cut DART. I found that part quite enjoyable, despite the fact I'd convinced myself I had failed it. Perhaps NATS determined that performance on DART doesn't correlate with one's post-training ability?

Coincidentally I would also like to get in touch with someone doing airports at CTC. Or with someone who is currently doing their basic course and starting their APS rating course in June as I'm getting recoursed onto that particular course.

I'll be taking the assessments this weekend from start to finish. I imagine they are similiar initially to the stage 0 and 1 tests, however i'll be curious to see what changes are in place considering the FEAST and DART aren't included anymore...

i've done all the online tests for stage 1 and have just been invited to do stage 2 tests which surprised me because i thought i made so many mistakes, some of the stage 1 tests were ridiculously hard

I am at Stage 2 now but cannot take for another week due to being away with work. Stage 1 I did yesterday morning and found them easier than the original versions.

I found it ok, but some questions were a little strange especially in the personality questionnaire. The situational judgment part they gave you hypothetical scenarios about your time at the college and training at units and then asked how you would deal with a given situation. They give you 4 options and you rank them 1-4 depending on which would be your go to solution as number 1 and your least as 4. For the personality questionnaire they gave you a set of three statements and you have the pick which is more like you and which is least like you.
I had only got to stage 1 in the previous version and then they updated so can't compare. I also found stage one simpler in this new version than the old one,
where the diagrammatic reasoning threw me off :s
I've also found the the links in the emails they send don't work 100% of the time, i guess there are still some bugs that need fixing in the new version
