Hope everyone had a good christmas!

Got a quick question for those who have completed stage 3 interview process, got mine coming up on the 23rd jan and just wondering how the day was laid out.
My assessor at stage 2 seemed to say it was an interview that lasts about two hours with 3/4 people on the panel and two scenarios to work through, but my slot is booked for all day and heard a rumour of a group exercise on top?

If anyone that has completed this stage could help, would love any bit of info to help. Prepare prepare prepare!

Thanks for any help in advance!

I'm a bit confused about this since from my understanding the "CAA Class 3" is the medical they give you if you make it through all the other stages. For anyone who applied with glasses/laser eye surgery how did you answer this question, did you book a separate medical before you applied?

I would really appreciate any advice.
I applied with the understanding, that as long as you are confident you can pass the CAA Class 3 at the medical you should be fine, but i was equally as confused

Closer to the date you'll receive an email with a slot. It'll last about 2 hours. There'll be an ATC and a workplace psychologist interviewing you. No group exercise. Just you.

Hi all, been lurking for the past few weeks while going through/researching the early stages of the interview process. I have my stage 2 session at Whiteley on 21 January - is anyone else here joining on that day?

I'm feeling confident about the ATC knowledge test and the DART, but FEAST has me worried since I feel like I struggled a bit with the rapid-fire thinking involved in stage 1. Are there any good resources online that I can use to sharpen up my thinking to better suit the requirements of the test?

Thanks in advance!

Has anyone tried applying for NATS three times? I know they changed the rules a little while ago to allow previous applicants to apply again after a year but not sure if this extends to a third attempt! Would be interested to hear of anyone who has.

No - it's an aptitude test. It is testing your skills/how your brain works - you can't "study" or "learn" for these kinda things.

Just go in, take your time, and do the practice at the start of each test.

Good Luck!

Unless you've done DART before how are you feeling confident about it? Not meaning to be a douche, just curious.

FEAST AND DART

I can't speak for anyone else but I purchased the Skytest software having failed the FEAST test nearly 5 years ago. As a result of practicing the tests, I managed to pass it this time round and also passed the DART test too. Some say it's a waste of time, but for me helped me immensely.

No worries at all! My father is an ATC in Australia so I've played around with the sims there while growing up, as well as the online games which I've been told are decent approximations of the thought processes you need for the test.

Hi all, I've been lurking on here for a while whilst going through the process. Lots of great help and advice.

I've been offered a place at Global starting in March with my medical on 24/01 at Swanwick.

Cheers for all the help.

Can you give me a bit of a idea what the day looks like for stage 3 please? Mostly just stuff on here about stage 2 and some of the stage 3 is a bit older so not sure if it's still the same.
Iv got my stage 3 on 22nd Jan. Been told it's 8-4 but have seen a lot of different write ups

That's what the email said for me, 8:00-16:00 and, that the day would consist of a 'Competency based and Technical Interview; a Personality Profiling Interview and a EuroControl Computer-Based Assessment'

However my stage 3 was moved to the Solent Hotel near CTC and only lasted for 2ish hours, with no computer test. So my experience will probably be different to others.

If you have done any interview before it will be very similar with them asking about times when you have done something or exhibited a certain trait.
They will also ask questions about the booklet provided and some other more generic questions.

They just want you to be yourself and make sure that their previous stages have accurately picked candidates.

Good luck.

Hi guys,
I'm on the same one.
Have you had your medicals yet?

I had my medical back in December, but I requested a cancellation in case I could shift onto an earlier course. Originally I was offered on the 29th November, and my medical was booked for 28th February. Hope that helps!

I will have mine in the first week of March. That doesn't leave much time to find a place to live in Whiteley area.
And I don't really want to quit my current job until I get the medical clearance, just in case...
I hope that everything works out.

Does anyone know how likely it is to be offered an earlier course? I've been offered a space on the course in Jerez starting in May but if a space opens up I'd like to start earlier. Would it be worth asking? I've already got my medical I'm just waiting on my security. I just don't really want to go to Spain haha
