Manch 128.050

Morning,

Any reason why this frequency has seemed to be redundant over the last few weeks and 133.050 and 118.775 are used instead? Is this going to be permanent?

118.775 is a permanent freq for sector 29 and has been for a long time.

Not too sure bout the other ones

It's still in use, but it does seem to be a bit random as to whether you get 128.05 or 133.05. I thought it may have been level-related, with 128 taking lower levels, but that doesn't seem to hold every time.

Seems to have confused more than 1 or 2 Manch controllers too.

Simple

Pretty Simple,
S29 118.77
West 128.050
IOM 133.050

When its busy the sectors are split, when its not they are bandboxed together. West together with IOM and then at nights on to S29. West and IOM are geographically split, S29 sits on top of the lot.

Confusing Manch controllers, not a difficult job!

Light the paper and stand back

Marginally more so than it is to confuse a pilot!
