Vote of thanks - Newcastle

What turned out, after landing, to be a non-event after a 'gear unsafe' warning during a flight to Carlisle on Sunday last (3/9).

Diversion to Newcastle was handled with great calmness which certainly made my task easier, and was also much appreciated by my passenger.

Thanks to Approach and Tower - whoever was on duty at the time.

Quite apart from anything else, being kept informed whilst orbitting waiting for landing clearance after inbounds and outbounds was very helpful.

Hope the rest of you do not mind my taking a small bit of bandwidth to express my vote of thanks to ATC.
