Thanks to EGNM EGNX and EGBB ATC

Dear All,

I was flying a Piper Arrow GLAOL from Kirkwall in Orkney to Goodwood this evening and was getting a little concerned about my fuel state. I asked for direct routings if possible via LBA, DTY and CPT and received cooperation from the above units with their usual professionalism and aplomb. I appreciate that Friday evening is not a good time to ask for favours such as that, so I do appreciate it more than most being "in the trade". I would have phoned personally but I could get your unit phone numbers.

Mancboy,

I have spent the last few days flying around Scotland and Orkney sightseeing and very nice it was too!

Eric,

I thank you as well!. The CLX B747 certainly was an impressive sight as it climbed out over Ailsa Craig and made for an excellent photograph.
