EGHI Closed yesterday!!

Hello peeps,

Yesterday as I am sure you lot are aware EGHI was closed for a while. I believe it was due to some workman cutting cables.

So here is the thing, what do you guys do in this situation:

Your phone lines go down so you can't call the next sector?
Are you still able to transmit?Receive
The power goes at the same time.

I am just interested to know

TTFN

As you have said, it really does depend on which cables have been cut

Southampton International Airport was forced to close to flights on Wednesday when workmen accidentally cut through vital communications cables.
Airport operator BAA said about 35 flights in and out of the airport had to be diverted, delayed or cancelled.
Flights resumed at 1630BST but BAA said British Telecom was continuing to carry out repairs.
The airport's telephone system remains affected and passengers are being asked to speak directly with their airline.
From the BBC Website. A lot of the flights were being diverted over to EGHH yesterday, a few FlyBe's flying over here. I know it's not a very clear answer, but there's a bit of information on it for you!
