To Oz, as ATCO??
Does anyone have any information on emigrating to Australia as an ATCO? ATC is not listed as one of the Skills (SOL) required for a skilled permanent residency visa...Airservices Australia don't sponsor, but require permanent residency...has anyone done this, or know anything about it?
Within aviation, pilots are listed as being skilled, surely we fall under the same/similar umbrella?

Hey shhhpotter,
Lookin to get there myself if I can. Same as you, I've looked up the SOL and to my dismay, ATCO's aren't on it. I've e-mailed the Oz immigration to see what they might have to say. I'll get back to you as soon as they have. You could always try your hand at plumbing!!!

Permanent residency required first. Snag is, if you go out there in another trade, by the time you've got your PR you'll be out of recency. If you're married, check your spouse's occupation.
