Manchester Radar yesterday

Just wanted to say a big thank you to the guys working Manchester Radar yesterday around 1115Z and again 1815Z for the great service to us in the Low Level Corridor and either end of it. Effectively getting a RIS throughout although only on a FIS. Good timely and accurate traffic calls, appreciation at being told that certain primary-only contacts were in fact aircraft, and you even sounded like you were enjoying your job!

Makes me wonder why so many people using the corridor seem to speak to no-one - what's the point of a listening watch? You might hear traffic calls for other people but how can you tell which one's you and where the others are?
