hello all,
Im heading to Swanick in May for the second stage interviews and i've been studying a fair bit however I was wondering just how 'technical' they get in the technical interview. I currently work as an ATCA and I was told by the ATCO at the test day that they gauge the questions in the interview on how much air traffic experience you have. Does this mean that I'm going to have to recite the MATS part 1 verbatim while someone with no experience gets a jigsaw to do? I dont want to spend my time learning in detail things that will never crop up in the interview but on the other hand I dont want to skim over things that the interviewer will expect me to know.
Any help would be appreciated,
cheers

In my interview the controller didn't ask too much about my background. He mostly presented me with scenarios and asked how I would deal with the situation. He obviously asked some technical questions (QNH stuff and about ILS) but I got the impression that unless you bring up gyroscopes (for example) you won;t be asked about them.
Hope this helps
