Anyone work 3 separate Terminals/Approach Units in the one building?
Question for the masses.
Are there any units out there that work 3 seperate Terminals/Approaches as part of their speciality or sector. My memory sucks, but I seem to remember there were a couple of guys at TC West Drayton who worked both EGLL and EGKK, and some Essex People who did EGKK. Just to clarify, here in Winnipeg Terminal Speciality, we provide a full terminal/approach service for Winnipeg, Thunder Bay and Saskatoon (the last two are Class E ). You may be sitting Saskatoon, go on a break and come back and work Winnipeg etc.
The reason I ask, I have a few questions regarding the operation, especially any North American controllers out there.
Ta much.

Well, one does TC heathrow as well, two do Gatwick and one does Luton. (Others training on heathrow/Stansted and Luton at this time)

Ok.......just because you asked so nicely Mr M.
The questions include currency issues (we have no "30 day" rule here in Canada), ab-initio training requirements (starting on a lower traffic airport or a higher one), and any other thoughts about what goes on.

Currency is a hot topic in TC - as the Non-watch (but valid) people now have to do a minimum of 18 hrs per month (I think on each sector) - an SRG reccomendation.
There are still a few Area people who do 3 sectors too.

We do it at quite a few places over here... SoCal approach, NorCal approach, Potomac Approach, the New York Common I to name just a few. It is probably going to be done more and more too over here.
