I have to say a big THANK YOU to all the lads 'n' lasses at Newcastle tower/radar on Saturday and all at SCATCC/Oceanic on Sunday for making me feel very welcome during my pre NATS interview visits. It was an invaluable experience for me to be able to ask operational ATCO's questions and helped to put all that I have learnt so far into context. I very much appreciated people explaining to me why they were doing what they were doing - even though they were obviously busy. It definitely confirmed my desire to get into the profession - just gotta see if I've got what it takes now. Hopefully speak to you all again on R/T some day!
