Thanks Brize

Dunno if Brize Radar controllers hang out here, but I was very impressed by the service this afternoon around 1600. There was enough low-mid-level cloud around to make radar service outside controlled airspace a real pain, with intermittent IMC for me and short notice upgrade requests from RIS to RAS. Nice job, professionally handled, thank you.

I believe that's known as "Doing their job"

(The amount of cloud has no bearing on making the job "a pain" - that's the pilots problem. The screen looks the same no matter what).

Chill Chilli! The guy was just saying thanks, nice when people do!
And I've had a couple of beers so I'm going to have to be a pedantic b@$t@rd and point out that he said the cloud caused him to request RIS to RAS lots of times: ergo, the cloud was the cause of increased controller workload.
(and if you're an airport ATCO then tell me BKN 100' OVC 200' doesn't cause us a shedload of extra work!!!!!!!!)
