Is this advisable, to have them living with you during your course? Any experiences good and bad would be great to hear

Can work two fold.

Its good for stability and not having to travel every weekend to see them.

It can be bad in that you might miss out on nights because her (or him) indoors would rather you stay in etc.

On the reverse side - travelling home can get you away from the stress of the college and you unwind on the way home.

The people you meet at college will be your workmates for a long time so its better to get them introduced to your other half early and that way longer lasting friends are made quicker.

She will quickly tire of the un-adulterated gibberish you and your new best-friends will spout at all times.
She will be handy to help with the revision.
If she hasn't got work in Bournemouth, she will be bored out of her mind all day [and most evenings as you will be studying].
You will be limited in your accomodation choices.
How she will respond to all of the above - you know her better than us.

Some have found it helpful, some have found spouses a bit of a limit on their activities. Depends more on the relationaship itself than on the course.
