New hold for EGLL!

The sound of circling aircraft drew me out into the back garden at Wycombe Towers (W Berks) this evening.

From the patterns being flown/aircraft observed, it looks like there is a new hold for EGLL at the CPT (Compton) VOR!

No access to R/T, but more realistically I assume this was for Wx in the London area? - have lived in this area for 8 years and never saw this before.

Yep, wx! Held at the BIG SLP yesterday evening for 20 minutes due wx. A line of activity from about DET to about Odiham. Let's hope for more today and Monday to help the lads out at the Oval!
