Did anyone hear on 15/06/05 Dublin approach was closed for 20 mins due to an unidentified silver disc shaped object crossing it?

There was no UFO, some swamp Gas reflected off the light from Venus. It is completely untrue that the Irish Air Corps were testing an experimental new aircraft. Your IP address have been noted and there will be a representative from the government along shortly for a chat.......

Could it have been a UAV (Uninhabited Aerial Vehicle) perhaps?

They are being deployed on a regular basis in many areas now, although I'm unaware of them being used in Controlled Airspace in the UK yet.

Ballymun

UFO in Dublin!!
I dont think its the Air Corps testing new aircraft anyways.Unless it was the learjet or more likely the new pilatus aircraft they have.I know they are rubbish but they dont look like the top of a dustbin!!!
Most likely answer to the question lies across the runways.BALLYMUN !!!!!! What were the boys in the mun doing that night is probably a better question.

I don't think it was a UFO. It may have been a weather balloon?

Of course it was a UFO. It was Unidentified, Flying and probably an Object.
