MAN 24R Approach Path Tonight

Just a quick question to the MAN controllers.
Any idea why what appeared to be a robinson R44 was dartiing in and out of the ILS path, approx 7 miles out at about 18.30 tonight.

The reason I ask is I was enjoying the delights of a barbeque (noticed how the food always looks like the charcoal after you've cooked it?) when I saw the aforementioned aircraft over my house. Scared the daylights out of my 4 year old daughter and if I liked sticking my neck out (which I dont) I would call into question his ability to land clear. Not a lot of green stuff where we live.

More bothered though that my daughter cowered in the corner due to the noise.
