Luton radar on Sunday were as busy as I have ever heard them and were quite reasonably and understandably refusing requests for flight information or radar services. Typical of the problem faced was when the poor approach guy asked one weekend warrior for his details - 'keep it brief' he said - he was bombarded with the normal life story taking about 30 seconds of airtime. He did well not to give the guy a good bollocking. Anyway, the service provided to us, the airlines, was as usual outstanding.
