Their first UK radar course should just be finishing about now. They should have approval for APP & ADC by now as they were both close to getting them (according to their staff) when I was at Bailbrook a short while back.

Land at your discretion - I am aware that STL have had a number of DIY enquiries and have trained two to date. They do indeed have their approvals for the college and all their courses. Many of their course places are taken up to the end of 2002 and they have some overseas contracts to. Go ahead and send another email to the MD [email protected], he wont be impressed that you have not received a reply, you may get a better rate.

Cool

ANOTHER NEW ATC TRAINING ORGANISATION - A.S.T.A.C (Aviation Services Training And Consultancy) are on the scene.
Started up by some of the other ex Bailbrook staff who stayed until the bitter end.
Based at (former RAF)Rudloe Manor, they expect to get CAA approval later this year for CAA aerodorme and procedural approach, and start running these courses in Jan 2002. Subsequently, they will be running CAA approach radar courses, (late 2002).
They will alos offer OJTI and ATCA courses, in addition to ICAO courses.
The company offers full residential courses, using the ex RAF facilities which have been purpose modified for the simulators/classrooms etc.

Good luck to them.

Excellent News - an all in one site in the same way that Bailbrook was. I know where my money would be going if I was in the market.
