Simultaneous Approach into parallel runways

Hi all,
I would like to find out more about the procedures about simultaneous approach for aircraft into triple/quadruple runways. I can't seem to find these information on the net and found this forum instead. Hope I can find some help regarding this procedures. Maybe I can get some help to some websites where I can find such information?

What are the major changes in procedures or things that we need to look out for with respect to dependent/staggered approaches. Do you think it is possible to find procedures for simultaneous approach for parallel runways for DFW and Denver as I'm tasked to do some case studies.

I'm actually quite new to ATC and doing some reading up. My country currently doesn't practise simultaneous approach for parallel runways, hence not able to find these information in my country.

Try the search function here on pprune - there's loads of stuff, particularly on how Heathrow manage their situation at the moment.

You might also try searching under International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) ICAO is a body operating under the auspices of the United Nations and set international regulations that every country (including the United States) has signed up to abide by. The UK has an excellent track record in this regard, but other States only pay lip service in many aspects. Use of parallel runways is one such.

Heathrow are currently exploring the possibility of using their 2 main runways as independent runways in order to increase capacity and improve flexibility, even though technically they're not quite far enough apart. Many US airports operate simultaneous approaches with much less spacing than Heathrow. I would imagine risk assessments will show no particular problems at LHR.

Try searching on Precision Runway Monitoring (PRM) for the way it's being done in the US at present - rather different to other approaches (if you'll excuse the pun) that have been used in the past and are in use at the likes of Heathrow.

The other types of approaches are also covered here. Obviously these are FAA procedures. I'm not sure where you'll find PANS-OPS or JAR-OPS standards.

I see that they have already posted the link of the procedures that we use here for running parallel approaches and the Trips as we call them here at DFW. We will probably be building a fourth runway to do Quads in the next few years.

I can get you a fair bit of info on close-spaced parallel operations to two runways. We do it here in Sydney - independent approaches and departures in IMC.
