QGH Approaches

Was just wondering if anyone still uses or trains for these approaches any more?

Maybe this partly answers your question"

CAP 413 15th Edition
The 15th edition of CAP413 (Radiotelephony Manual) was released 1st September 2004. AIC 68/2004 (White 103) 22 July refers.

Points of interest are a new simplified message format for the reply to 'Pass Your Message', inclusion of new phraseology for RTF reports at Unattended Aerodromes, removal of the section specifying phraseology for QGH approaches and description of the callsign prefix 'TYRO'. There will also be an appendix describing differences between UK RTF and ICAO standard RTF.

They still do QGHs at some RAF airfields mainly those with UAS
and no Radar.
